This spicy, golden-yellow drink can be an excellent replacement for your morning coffee, or a worthy farewell to your day.
Golden milk is not considered a medicine without reason: you can consume it for cold symptoms or headaches, and it can even help fight the “winter depression” caused by early darkness.
The warming, antioxidant-containing, and anti-inflammatory spices sensationally counterbalance the variability of autumn and winter, and the cold and windy weather. The beneficial effects of turmeric are already recognized by medicine, and the plant’s special components are studied and analyzed in clinical trials.
Of course, you do not need to be sick to prepare this super-tasty drink! The fine flavors and warming spices brighten even the most ordinary day 😊
Ingredients
2 cups plant-based milk from MIMOOSA drink powder
1 teaspoon turmeric
a pinch of black pepper (helps the absorption of turmeric)
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon clove
¼ teaspoon cardamom
sweetener to taste: honey, date syrup, or possibly sugar
How to prepare
Mix the drink powder with the appropriate amount of water, then put it in a saucepan and start heating. Add the spices, and bring the mixture to a boil. Cook for 1–2 minutes after boiling, then set aside for 5–10 minutes to cool.
Sweeten with honey, date syrup, or possibly sugar. When made with coconut milk powder, you may not need any sweetening.
We wish you a good appetite and warming drinks for the chilly days!
