The absolute fastest treat for welcoming guests is undoubtedly the no-bake coconut ball. The usual chocolate-coconut combo can now be transformed into a surprisingly extra-fancy delicacy: all you need is a little freeze-dried strawberry powder!
It’s ready in moments and can be served immediately to unexpected guests.
You don’t even need to turn on the oven, and for preparation, you only need a spoon, a small bowl, a mixing bowl, and 15 minutes.
Thanks to the naturally preserved vitamins and minerals in the strawberry powder – made without sugar and with almond flour! – this “dessert” can confidently be called a healthy treat.
The finished balls are not only delicious but also visually striking, making them perfect for everyday coffee afternoons or festive tables alike.
Ingredients
10 tablespoons almond flour or the same amount of light-colored cookie crumbs (leftover biscuits, sponge edges, etc.)
2–3 tablespoons MIMOOSA freeze-dried strawberry powder
1 packet vanilla sugar (optional)
150–200 ml coconut milk or coconut cream – depending on how dry your base is
White sugar or strawberry jam, if needed and to taste
5 tablespoons shredded coconut
Preparation
Mix the dry ingredients – almond flour (or cookie crumbs), strawberry powder, and vanilla sugar – thoroughly in a bowl. Add the coconut milk, stir, and taste to see if it needs a little sweetening – if so, add sugar or strawberry jam. If you use jam, expect your mixture to become slightly softer.
From the uniformly mixed “dough,” shape balls between your palms and roll them in the shredded coconut – a shallow bowl works best for this.
Hide the finished strawberry balls in a safe place because if someone finds them before you serve them, you will definitely need to make another batch!
Enjoy!
