What does your package include?

In the quantity you select: Simple Homemade Bread Flour and, if desired, Mimoosa Sourdough Starter.

You can order 3–6–9 kg of bread flour per month, along with 0–12–24–36 portions of sourdough starter. At the start of the subscription, the total amount for the chosen interval must be paid in full. The ordered quantity will be delivered to the specified address every month.

Attention! The sourdough starter must be frozen! Unopened and undamaged, it can be stored at room temperature for up to 10 days without quality loss. After opening, it must be stored continuously in the freezer! If ordering to a pickup point, please try to collect it as soon as possible.

Simple Homemade Bread Flour

Good bread is the heart of our meals. Consumed mindfully and in moderate amounts, it is part of a healthy lifestyle. Traditionally, the best bread is made from gluten-containing grains: soft, elastic, non-crumbly, with a crisp crust and heavenly aroma and flavor. One of the greatest challenges of a gluten-free lifestyle is replacing bread.

With our Homemade Bread Flour, we aim to recreate the familiar taste and texture of traditional bread. Key ingredients include neutral-tasting sorghum and tapioca, which, through rising and especially sourdough fermentation, reproduce the desired aroma and flavor of bread.

Long-fermented sourdough bread also has exceptional benefits for the digestive system, especially in people whose intestines are affected by food sensitivities.

In cases of late-diagnosed gluten sensitivity, intestinal damage may already be apparent through symptoms. Fermented foods are known to support digestion, so regularly consuming sourdough bread can contribute to healthy gut function.

Simple Sourdough Starter

The health benefits of fermented foods are widely recognized.

It is generally recommended to consume as much sauerkraut, pickled cucumbers, and kimchi as possible, all of which can also be prepared at home.

Sourdough breads are very popular, but making them requires some experience.

With our sourdough culture, home bread baking becomes a new, convenient, and hassle-free experience.

It’s very easy to use, requires only a freezer for storage, and allows you to bake a series of delicious and healthy breads, rolls, and loaves.

According to the recipe, dough must be kneaded and left to rise and ferment for 12–24 hours, details on how to do this follow below.

SIMPLE HOMEMADE BREAD FLOUR

Ingredients: sorghum flour, tapioca starch, millet flour, brown rice flour, golden flaxseed flour, psyllium husk flour

Ingredients: lactic acid bacteria, selected yeast strains, inulin (plant fiber), carrier substances for the bacteria: maltodextrin, sucrose

Recipe

Sourdough homemade bread

Ingredients:

  • 250 g flour mix
  • 6 g salt
  • 1 measuring spoon Mimoosa Sourdough Starter
  • 250 g water at 40–45°C

Place the flour, salt, and sourdough starter in a mixing bowl and mix well. Pour in the water and quickly combine the ingredients using a spoon. Knead the slightly sticky dough by hand for a few minutes. Shape the dough into a loaf, baguette, or small bread rolls as desired, and cover with plastic wrap to prevent drying. Let it rise at room temperature for 10–12 hours. At this stage, the bread is ready to bake, but for a richer flavor and lighter texture, refrigerate the dough for 10–12 hours.

Before baking, place the loaf on a floured baking sheet and make a few 1 cm deep slashes with a sharp knife. For a nicer crust, brush lightly with olive oil.

Preheat the oven to 210°C. Bake at this temperature for 20 minutes, then reduce to 200°C and bake for another 30 minutes. For an even better crust, surround the bread with steam during baking. Simply place a small pot with a few deciliters of water on the bottom of the oven.

When done, place the bread on a wire rack and wait until it has completely cooled.

The MIMOOSA Flour Subscription is a brand-new subscription system that allows you to order discounted gluten-free bread flour from us in the quantity and for the duration that suits you, optionally including sourdough starter. After placing your order, the products you choose are automatically delivered to your home every month.

What do I need to do to become a subscriber?

You set up your subscription once, choose the products you want and how often you want them, then pay in advance or order them with a monthly fee — and just like that, you’re a subscriber!

What discounts do I get?

Example: if you subscribe for 6 months and choose 6 kg of flour per month, you will receive a total of 36 kg of flour over six months, delivered monthly.

For a monthly subscription, you only need to choose the amount of flour, it could be 3, 6, or 9 kg and you don’t have to set the duration in advance. This type of subscription continues until you cancel it.

Can I get the subscription with sourdough starter as well?

Yes, you can add sourdough starter to any flour package when setting up the contents of your subscription.

Subscription process

When will I receive my monthly subscription package?

Your first package will be shipped on the first business day after you place your order, and it should arrive within 1–2 business days. During your subscription, your products will be shipped on the same schedule each month, on the first business day following your order date. You will receive email updates about the status of your delivery.

When do I need to pay for my subscription?

You can choose between prepayment and monthly payment options. With prepayment, you pay for the entire subscription period when you place your first order. With the monthly payment option, we charge the current subscription fee each month

Which subscription plan is the better deal?

It depends on how certain you are that you want to bake MIMOOSA bread long-term, and how much money you can commit in advance to your gluten-free diet.

From a purely financial perspective, prepayment is the better option, and the longer you commit, the bigger the discount we offer. If flexibility is more important, the monthly payment option is your friend, the discount is smaller, but you can cancel your subscription at any time.

How can I modify my subscription?

You can modify certain elements of your subscription, such as the number of products or the delivery address, at any time by logging into your account on our online platform. How can I cancel my subscription?

You can only cancel the fixed-term MIMOOSA Flour Subscription packages in exceptional cases — the significant discount is offered in exchange for your long-term commitment.

Is it possible to pause a flour subscription?

Can I have my subscription delivered to a parcel or pickup point?

No, it isn’t possible. The flour subscription is only available with home delivery.

How does the delivery work?

Delivery is dispatched on the same day each month, starting from the first day of your subscription. You will receive email updates about the current status of your package.

What shipping fee do I have to pay for home delivery?

Home delivery for the subscription costs 1,000 HUF per shipment.

How long will it take for my package to arrive?

2–4 business days.

Do you ship internationally?

No, at the moment our subscription is only available within Hungary.

How can I track my package?
